Moving while homeschooling?

Nope! We are moving this summer to a much larger community so we're going to delay the start of our year until after things settle down. Homeschooling will allow us to minimize the disruption to our kids since they won't have a new school to adjust to along with every other change. One of the biggest changes for us will be that my husband's new job will involve him going to the office rather than telecommuting. He had been working from home since our eldest was 6 months old. Now, 11 years later, we're adjusting to a new schedule. Until we move, he has to commute 1 1/2 hours each way everyday. This has been a very difficult transition for all of us and we've only been at it for 3 days! We have at least another 1 1/2 weeks before we can move. We all miss him terribly, but we know this is for the best.
